Whole Again and City Gospel Mission Establish A Partnership This Summer

Whole Again is serving a rapidly growing number of at risk children. Their need for a larger administrative staff is also growing. One problem is that their revenue stream is not keeping pace with their need for more administrative support. God put it on the heart of two employees of City Gospel Mission, Gary Loomans (Director of Youth Partnerships) and Barry Baker (Executive VP of Youth and Administration), to talk with Pastor Gregory Chandler about how City Gospel Mission could do more to support the work of urban Pastors and the work of Whole Again. The idea that come from that discussion was that maybe City Gospel Mission could hire and pay the salaries of several Administrative Assistants who would then work for Whole Again. This would take a ton of work off Pastor Chandler’s desk. It sounded like God speaking to them so this unique partnership was formed!! “This is the answer to our prayers. City Gospel Mission stepped up, and showed by their actions, that we are all in this together. We needed help, they had the resources and they agreed to share them with us, no strings attached, says Pastor Gregory Chandler, Sr., Founder, President and CEO of Whole Again. What a blessing, indeed!

Let this be a model for other non-profits to follow, as we work together for the common good and spiritual uplift our communities.
